Okay. Well, that is a big question the benefits of Aromatics for cats is huge. Um, of course.

So let me put it in a nutshell. Let's, let me try and put it in a nutshell.

Yeah. The nutshell

might get a little bit big, but I'm going to do my best. So cats, all animals, we have an innate need to self medicate, to choose the herbs and the plants that they need for their wellbeing. Okay. If they were wandering around wild, they would be picking at a bit of catnip here and a bit of grass here.

And then when they weren't feeling quite well off, they would go and find the Uh, the herb that they needed, and I'm pretty sure anyone who has rural cats will have seen their cats chewing at stuff, you know, maybe cleavers or yarrow, it's, it's certainly grasses, we all know that it's, it's a good thing to have in the house for grasses, and all of these are ways that animals keep themselves healthy, okay?

So, when we have them in a domestic environment, we deprive them of that ability, which actually creates stress. You know, well, not wellness, the opposite of wellness, not illness, but not really thriving, you know, it's called thrive. Um, so when you start to introduce aromatics back and aromatics, what are, what do I mean by aromatics?

It can be essential oils. It can be hydrosols, which is a water, very gentle water part of the distillation of essential oils and is really, really safe for cats. It's a really great way for people to start using aromatics because it's very safe. Herbs, dried herbs, fresh herbs, uh, herbal oils. So there's a variety of ways that we can present to them the secondary metabolites, the plant, the healing plant parts that they're looking for, that they need, that they want.

So the advantage of this, what does it do? First of all, it gives them healing components, you know, cause the essentials and the herbs, they, everybody knows how good they are for you, right? The anti inflammatory, they reduce stress, they're digestive, they've got so many different things you can do with them.

Um, so that's number one. Number two, you are reducing their stress. Which, for me, is the primary thing we need to look at for any, for any wellness. We don't reduce stresses in some degree, um, then we're always struggling to have them thrive. So, you give them choice. When we work with the aromatics, we allow the animal to select which ones they want to work with.

They say, I don't come there and put them on top of them or whatever. I come with, present them with a selection of things that I think might be good for them. And they will interact with them as they want to. Um, and so they're getting, uh, enrichment. They're getting choices back in their lives, you know, with the best will in the world.

We love, we love our animals and we tend to do things to them all the time. We don't give them a lot of choices sometimes. Yeah, because we know it's good for them. Um, so when you bring the oils and say, Look, here you go, what would you like to do? You can see them kind of going, Oh, finally, this is like, it's really amazing how, I mean, this is what hooked me into the whole thing.

Just looking at their faces when you come with the aromatics and seeing how they go, Yay, you're listening to me and that's what I needed. And it just, it builds the bond. more strongly between you. It helps you communicate more clearly together. It's like it's got so many side effects. Um, so, and it's an enrichment, you know, especially for inside, indoor cats that live indoors, you're bringing nature into them.

And we all need nature, you know, we, and our cats need to have access to these, to, to nature, to the, to the real world, if you like. So those are the main benefits, like off the top of my head, nutshellly wise.
